Project Overview
Royal Tech Solutions Kenya is your go-to destination for electronics from gadgets to accessories. They required a fast, responsive, and efficient e-commerce platform to enhance user experience, increase sales conversions, and align with their brand’s focus on technology and innovation. The primary goal was to address speed and performance issues on their existing website to ensure seamless navigation, quick loading times, and an improved overall user experience.

Challenges
Royaltek Solutions was facing a number of challenges with their existing digital presence, including:
- The shop was extremely slow, with an initial page load speed of nearly 10 seconds
- The website was not visible on popular search engines. For example, it was only showing on the second page of Google search results.
- The shop’s design was old and no longer appealing.
- The shop was designed to accept only card payments and no room for local payment gateways like cash on delivery or mobile money.
- Royaltek provides both products and services but the shop was only displaying products.
- The shop was too technical for the team to update and constantly required someone with deep expertise to update, costing them more money.
What we did
- We redesigned the shop and gave it a polished, modern look!
- Optimized all assets on the website, including all images, effectively reducing page load speed to 2 seconds.
- Used a CDN to improve overall website performance.
- Applied our unique SEO strategy, the shop now appears as the first result on Google!
- Updated the domain from the hiphenated royal-tech.co.ke to the more professional, search friendly royaltek.co.ke
- Added local payment gateways.
- Added a “Quick Order” button that directly interacts with their WhatsApp business account and allows people to make quick orders directly with a sales agent.
- Strategically added “Services” sections across the web shop to advertise their value added services.
- Added a CMS to the shop to allow for easy content updates.Added the shop to Nyatti Performance tier for optimal performance.

Conclusion
This is a web shop that was struggling to make sales. By the end of 2 months, we had surpassed a 1000 pageviews according to our Cloudflare dashboard, 81% Kenyan This was a successful operation, of which the owners described as “effective”!
